SEMAA Award Ceremony at Insights Museum

NASA Science, Engineering, Math, and Aerospace Academy (SEMAA) in the College of Engineering at University of Texas at El Paso will host the Winter Session Award Ceremony, March 31, 2012 from 2-5pm at the Insights Museum located at 505 Santa Fe St. El Paso, TX.
Elementary and Middle school students and teachers will be awarded for completing the program activities, which involves 20 hours of SEMAA projects at their school and finalizing with activities at the UTEP Aerospace Education Lab. At the ceremony students and teachers will be recognized with a certificate and a t-shirt. After the ceremony students and family members will have the opportunities to engage in the museum activities.
SEMAA is part of the Center for Space Exploration Technology Research (cSETR) at the College of Engineering at UTEP. SEMAA presents activities and curriculums that are available to K-12 students in their schools and at camp sessions that are hosted at UTEP. The Academy focuses on lessons that will enrich students with science and engineering concepts.
SEMAA is nationally renowned and is a progressive education leading program that was created to inspire, engage and educate students, parents and communities.
