Call for Papers!
The College of Engineering at The University of Texas at El Paso cordially invites graduate and undergraduate students to present their research at the 2nd Southwest Energy Science and Engineering Symposium (SESES). All topics related to energy science and engineering are encouraged!
The 2nd Southwest Energy Science and Engineering Symposium (SESES) will take place on Saturday, March 24th, 2012 at the Double Tree Hotel in downtown El Paso, Texas. The symposium provides a setting for interactions between students, scholars, and energy science professionals in the southwest region.
The symposium kicks off with a breakfast followed by breakout technical sessions. Each presentation will be 15-minutes long (12-minute presentation with a 3-minute question/discussion). All papers must be submitted by March 1st 2012. A maximum 3-page letter style is required. For more information on the template for the paper please log on to:http://engineering.utep.edu/seses
The Symposium concludes with a luncheon and Keynote speaker Mr. Robert R. Romanosky, Jr.,Technology Manager for Power Systems Advanced Research of the U.S Department of Energy.
This event is supported by Shell and the UTEP Center for Space Exploration Technology Research (cSETR).
Registration fees are $10 for students and $15 for other professionals due in cash or check on the day of the symposium on March 24th, 2012.
